The book of the month is…
Scrum: The art of doing twice in half the time by Jeff Sutherland. This book is full of engaging stories and real-world examples. The scrum’s principles can be applied by technology companies to manufacturing. Scrum provides a simple framework for solving what seem like intractable and complicated work problems. It’s hard to make forward progress when you can’t see your impediments clearly. Sutherland offers a lens to remedy that.
It’s hard to make forward progress when you can’t see your impediments clearly.
It’s an easy book to read, pleasant and enjoyable, while remaining complete and rigorous. Provides a series of ideas really useful to understand what it means to work with agile methodologies, practice now become “fashionable” and therefore unfortunately applied in many companies from top to bottom without understanding the real roots.
Book recommended to those who have taken the “agile” way: by applying the good practices described by Sutherland it will lead to a real improvement in performance and a satisfaction of the teams in carrying out their work.
